Some people find my obsessions with FTP to be weird...
Well, there are some people in my life who make fun of it and laugh at it, and they say some pretty hilarious things!

So here, post your stories about funny things friends/family have said or done about your FTP obsessions!

I will start off!
If you know me from tumblr, you will know this story.
(LOL I copied and pasted it. Sorry)

So the other day we had “School Awards”. You know, where you go to an assembly type thing and they give awesome students awards? (Kidding, of course) Well, my english teacher was in charge of the music for this, and he put amazing songs on the playlist. Whenever kids go up to receive there awards, he plays his songs for a short time. We had talked about it earlier. Foo fighters, The Raconteurs, FOSTER THE PEOPLE, were all on his list…

So today was the day that I would hear the best playlist ever. I wasn’t even excited about the awards because I thought I wouldn’t get any…

Well, I actually got three. So I was happy and all, haha. Not bragging or anything, they are just pieces of paper. But no. The GREATEST part of this was that whenever I went up to receive my certificate, my english teacher played all of his Foster the People songs! It was SO sweet! He played Don’t Stop and Helena Beat, and another FTP, and it was amazing. At the end when he came to congratulate me on my awards, he said, “Just so you know, I played ALL of my FTP songs when you came up on purpose. Hope you liked it.”

ok so i heard this from a friend that is also in the fandom,
one day on twitter mark was talking about jet lag, and he was saying it in a sarcastic way like "sometimes she doesn't come, but when she does we usually spend long sleepless nights together" or something along those lines
and jet lag is the effects of riding in a plane. but a few people read that tweet and were going crazy for a few mins because they thought jet lag was a girl until they realized that it wasnt a girl...

Haha! I totally remember that! XD I love how Mark's tweets will totally confuse some of the fans. He is a weird (but wonderful) one.

i think it was funny when Mark F. used the hashtag #Ponsibehave because they had a concert in Montreal i laughed so hard when i saw this and thought about the interview from Saturday Night Online
